A Grand Illusion

So I fire up my Google Reader this morning and I find this doozy by Bob Norman. It looks like Norman does not like Beth Reinhard’s column on a documentary ostensibly outing Charlie Crist. Norman makes some worthwhile points about Beth’s apparent comfort with too often giving those in power the benefit of the doubt.

But then he injects himself into the story, and goes off on this strange, awkward “I saved Latin. What did you ever do?” tangent.

Reinhard has no game; she’s a benchwarmer. While I’m out breaking new ground, she makes herself busy holding the establishment’s fort. I expose corruption, she provides distractions.

Um. Sure, buddy.

Score. Somebody finally put up a video to YouTube about Bobby Jindal’s impression of Kenneth the NBC page in last night’s Republican response to President Obama’s speech.

According to Beth Reinhard, Jindal’s less than stellar performance on national TV is good news for Charlie Crist and his 2012 aspirations. Beth calls Jindal’s tour de force, “goofy,” “unpersuasive,” “nervous and insecure.” We have to agree.
